2020 is one hell of a year for me. There is so many things that happened and changed. This is the reason for the rebirth of myself, my life and my studio.
During the last couple of years we have become a family of great friends during the dance classes. We laughed and cried together during all the “deep ocean” and “sky high mountain” experiences that we shared. Now we will look forward into the present and the future to embrace it and make it AWESOME.
This blog will be the platform where I share my experiences, my opinions and anything related to life and dancing. I am no expert, but I read and find interesting things to make my life easier and would like to share it with you.
I am of the opinion that we as women are unique and precious, but we have a habit to forget that. We are judged by the world around us. Norms that the world set for women – you need to look a certain way, you need to dress a certain way, you need to weigh a certain amount. The “world” can be mean and cruel.
AND we as women forget who we are!!!!!!
We are female warriors that fight the battles every day, some days are harder then others. We are so often used and abused by society, that we think it is right to be treated that way. I am here to tell you NO it is not right and as female warriors we must continue to fight to be not in those situations.
We have family, either blood related or dance related, it does not matter we are a family that needs to love each other and help each other. Comparisons, evil envy and nastiness does not belong with female warriors. We must rise above it and reunite.
That said we also need to learn how to love ourselves and take care of ourselves. To rest, recuperate and sleep. We sometimes get into a vicious cycle of taking care of others more then we take care of our own bodies, our own minds and our own emotions. We realize to late, that if we are empty inside we can not help others.
You do not have to spend money to look after yourself and recuperate, a relaxing shower with your favorite body wash can do wonders and even sitting down to read a good book, can inspire you and fill you with so much good feel vibes.
Through dancing, especially belly dancing, you can also relax. It gives you the ability to learn from your body and explore your body and your emotions. And for those who is wondering, dancing is a very good form of exercise.
I believe we were put on this earth to look after it, as well as all the creatures on it, we are however failing in that task in my opinion. I am just as guilty as the next person, but together we might be able to change it in small ways and steps.
So together we will discover how we can become the best female warriors on this earth, starting by looking after ourselves, other human beings, our earth and the animals placed on this earth for us to protect.
