This time of the year we miss the love- ones that is no longer with us. It is a rough time for a lot of us, especially this year after and in the process of the different waves of Covid that keeps hitting us. This “enemy” is getting closer to the people we know and our inner circle. Which scares the crap out of me.
One of my favorite actresses, Judi Dench, said it best in this picture(inserted). Time does not heal all the wounds, it just learns you how to deal with the pain and keep living.
I want to concentrate today on crying.
I am a very emotional person. I cry when I am sad, when I am happy, but also when I am extremely angry. People do not always know how to handle a person, especially a woman when she is crying. There is no special way to treat it, the only way is to listen to her/ him and comfort the person.
When you feel like crying please do so!!!!
There is nothing wrong for a person to cry, actually you will feel a burden lift of your heart and you will feel a hell of a lot better afterwards. Tell people to leave you alone in a polite matter and have your cry for any and everything that you want to cry about.
Society thinks it is showing weakness, I think personally you are strong when you cry. You matter and so does your feelings. Cropping it up will only make you sick from inside and then one day you will have a crash and you will be overwhelmed.
So please do not crop up your feelings, cry when you feel like it. You will pick the benefits thereof much later.
For all those who have lost loved ones recently and even through the years. Remember them this Christmas and know that they are still there in your heart. Keeping an eye out for you.
